Tuesday Jan 28, 2014 we spent the day in meetings and had dinner with some researchers from California. We had some problems finding a place to eat because an ice storm shut down the whole town. The south is not set up for freezing rain, so all the highways and main bridges were shut down. It took us over an hour to get back to where we were staying compared to 10mins. It was scary!
