Update on the Corn

The corn is growing!
I went out to help Todd with some of his trials and was happy to see all the corn we had planed was growing. All our hard work is paying off.

High Park Fire Update

When we got home from fishing at Horsetooth Lake the fire was an estimated 2,000 acres. On our way home we could see the fire glowing over the peaks of the mountains. When we woke up this morning to go to church the fire had grown to an estimated 14,000 acres. This is the view from our porch this afternoon.

This is a picture of the sun. It was glowing red!

Fishing Trip to Horsetooth with High Park Fire

On Saturday morning the High Park Fire broke out, we could the smoke from our home. We spent the evening fishing on Horsethooth Lake and I got some crazy pictures of the fire. Over all we had a great night. Everyone caught fish and enjoyed the hot night out on the lake.
