Ice Fishing

Sunday we took Jeff and Maxine out ice fishing. It was Maxine's first time ice fishing. We had a blast! Between the four of us we caught over 50 trout. The ice was super slick and the wind was fairly Strong, but inside the tent we were cozy with our fishing holes and our heater. Going ice fishing with Todd and Jeff  is always a 5 star guided trip. They bait our hooks and take our fish off every cast.  We are definitely spoiled.  What a fun day!!

A Day of Snow Fun

Last night we got about 4 inches of snow. It was a beautiful, cold and a windy day!

 After dinner we went out into the 18 degree chilly night to make a snowman, because none of us had ever made a Colorado Snowman. Let me tell you, making a snowman with pure dry powder snow is very hard. We spent about an hour making "Frosty". What a fun day of snow!

 

 

Anniversary Suprise!!

Anniversary Surprise!

Todd and I went out for a sushi dinner on our Anniversary. On the drive home he handed me a envelope that said "Happy Anniversary". Inside the envelope was a sweet note stating, that we would be spending Saturday night at our favorite cabin in Estes Park at the Della Terra. Then he proceeded to tell me that he could not keep the secret any longer.  On Sunday we had tickets to The Nutcracker Ballet in Denver. He sure knows his wife well. What a great surprise!!! We had a blast! A little snow, steak dinner at the Stanley Hotel, a visit into the park ,  a relaxing drive to Denver and a beautiful Ballet to finish off the weekend. Thank you love for a wonderful weekend and amazing 4 years of marriage.
