When we got home from fishing at Horsetooth Lake the fire was an estimated 2,000 acres. On our way home we could see the fire glowing over the peaks of the mountains. When we woke up this morning to go to church the fire had grown to an estimated 14,000 acres. This is the view from our porch this afternoon.
This is a picture of the sun. It was glowing red!
I'll post pictures from our place in a few minutes! It's neat to see your pics of the view from Mom and Dad's house, since our view is the exact opposite side. It looked today like the smoke was blowing right over towards you!
