Pete's Elk Hunt

This year Todd and I did not draw any hunting tags. Todd and Adam went with Pete on his elk hunt. Pete had a very successful hunt.

Packing in Adam wanted to walk for the last mile or so to stretch his legs so Todd jumped on Taylor for the last bit into camp!

Family Day at the Denver Zoo

The whole Flaming and Wilson families headed to the Denver Zoo. We have been talking about going for about three years now.  Our plan was to be at the zoo right when it opened and try to be done around one o'clock, then go out to lunch. Well the Zoo was awesome and we were about halfway through at noon.  Moose and Levi were amazing, they walked the whole zoo with no complaints. The adults were all wishing we could take a ride with Vernon in the stroller.

A visit from a old dance friend

My sweet friend Aubrie was in town for the week. She came and took one of my classes then we went out for coffee. It was such a treat to see her sweet face again. 

Backyard Buck

         We have had the pleasure of watching this buck over the summer months from the back porch.

He is a beautiful 4x4.  It has been fun to see how fast his rack is growing.
