Colorado Thunderstorms

Todd and I were enjoying our home made burgers when the weather alert called for severe thunderstorms. Todd and I went outside to enjoy the show.

The Pack Trip

Our first pack trip into the Rawah Wilderness with Adam. Everything was going great until we hit 10,500 feet and had to break through snow drifts. It got a little interesting for us trying to find the trail . We finally had to turn around and ride back to the trail head. We were on the trail for 12 hours total. Todd and I went to the Johnstown parade Saturday morning.
The whole Forster Family, was apart of the action

After the parade we went to the shop for a great BBQ lunch and Pony rides

It was a great Saturday afternoon

Friday Night Fishing

Friday night Todd and two friends went fishing on a small lake.

Todd came home with 4 surprises. Two Large Mouth Bass 2lb 11 oz and 2lb 140z

As you can see Todd is very happy!

They have very sharp teeth and scary red eyes.

This suprise became a great dinner.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing weekend camping with our good friends the Forsters. We enjoyed sleeping in, eating, relaxing and fishing. Todd and Adam enjoyed teaching the young stud how to fish. Michael at 22 months has the coolest Super Man Fishing Pole Ever!
Todd is jealous because Michael always catches fish.

I don't know who is more excited about catching a red rubber fish, Todd or Michael!

Michael also liked to chase the fish as Todd and Adam took turns reeling him in.

We had a wonderful Camping trip!

A Walk With A Ferret

We let Chester the fox go and now have a new pet ferret!

Just kidding! To get the story clear, we never kept Chester as a pet, we just took cute pictures with him and sent him on his way with his brother and sister. We see him and his mom from time to time as they run around the lake.

As for the ferret, We just made friends as I took him for a walk.

A FUN Weekend

The weekend of the 25th and 26th was very busy but full of fun. On Saturday night, I had a night out on the town in Denver for a business dinner and comedy show. Staying with the comedy theme, my boss bought us all funny glasses. It was a riot! We all had a wonderful night out.

Sunday we were off to the rodeo at the Mule & Donkey show, where Todd and Adam took first place in the feed race. I married a true rodeo cowboy!! NOT!

Todd and Michael learned how to climb under and through gates.

And army crawl... They were both very dirty.
