A week of first kills

Todd had a great week of first kills. He was so excited with all of his great kills. Todd and Adam set up a spread of goose decoys and actually called in some geese and a couple of ducks. He was so excited to have finally killed a "Canadian Honker"

Pete Forster, Todd and Adam went out to eastern Colorado for a pheasant hunt. They had a blast. I was told they hunted in front of the combine cutting the corn. They used it as their bird dog. The pheasants were everywhere.
Pete is the man, I'm not sure he ever missed.

Anniversary Weekend

Todd and I had a great Anniversary weekend. Dinner Saturday night at the Melting Pot were we had a 3 hour fondue dinner with steak, lobster and dark chocolate! WOW! That is all I can say.

Sunday the Forsters and the Flamings set our to find the family Christmas Trees in the forest. What a great day of fun. Picking the perfect tree can be very challenging with two little ones and 4 Adults who act like children when it 10 degrees and snowing.

We got home and turned the tree around like 5 times to find the right side then spent the rest of the night creating Christmas in our home.

What are great way to finish off our 1st year of marriage and bring in the new year!

Devils Backbone Hike

Todd and I went for a Sunday afternoon hike to Devils Backbone. We watched a beautiful sunset and a great view of the Rockies. Great Sunday afternoon adventure!

Our First Thanksgiving Dinner

Todd and I had a great adventure cooking up our first Thanksgiving dinner. Our turkey turned out perfect, golden brown and so juicy! Due to our hot oven, our turkey was done 1 hour earlier than expected. Todd and I rushed around the kitchen making the rest of the fixing's, mashed and sweet potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Then we lit the candles and were about to thank the Lord for our meal, when Todd remember we had forgot about the green beans! Oh well ! DIG In it's Turkey Day!
