Morning Coffee Drive

 

This morning Todd and I got up before the sun and went for a drive. We got about an inch of snow last night so it was a beautiful drive. There is nothing better than wearing your pajamas drinking hot coffee and driving around to see a fresh blanket of snow.

 

Weekend with the Forsters

We had a great visit with the Forsters. We got to spend some time with them and see their new home and town. Todd and I had a blast playing with the boys and spending time with friends.  They live in a beautiful area and we sure had a great time, thanks to them for the great hospitality!  

 

 

 

 

We went on a walk with the boys and Adam and the dogs killed a racoon. So we had them take a family kill shot. It was quite the adventure as always!

Pictures of our First Snow

One of my favorite things is to wake up and see that it has snowed over night.

On Thursday October 4, 2012, we woke up to a dusting of snow. We usually see snow around the week of Halloween. This week we had 85 degree weather on Monday and snow on Thursday. Colorado has crazy weather! 

Sugar Beet Harvest

This is how sugar beets are harvested today. One pass takes less than a minute.

 One pass takes about 3 hours......... yeah!!!! 

It was a long day and we were all beat up, but its done and we had some good laughs.
